Console Commands

This Post is about settings that give you a big advantage when playing Counter Strike: Source not using any hack! This settings lets you reduce the size of your crosshair, make it change the colour each time you shoot and lets you buy all equipment by pressing a single key.

At First you have to set up the ingame console. The next steps explain different commands.

How to open the ingame Console in Counter Strike Source:

English Instructions:
Open Steam. Go To Library and right click on Counter Srike Source.
In the following dialog click on "Properties" -> "Set Launch Options" and type in:

Set up your Crosshair Scale

Open Counter Strike Source. Click in the text box of the console and type in:

cl_legacy_crosshair_scale xxxx

cl_crosshairscale xxxx
________________________________

Replace xxxx with a number between 0 and 100000. The higher the number the smaller the crosshair. I mostly choose 80000, although I think that numbers above 10000 (or even less) do not make the crosshair any smaller. But give it a try yourself and choose a number that fits your game settings best.If you want to set your crosshair back to default for any reason, you can do that with the cl_crosshairscale command and the correct number (sorry I don't know that one but probably something like 1 or 0). Another way to do so, is to change something in the standard game Options which will automatically reset it.


Change the colour of your Crosshair everytime you shoot

Open Counter Strike Source. Click in the text box of the console and type in:

bind "mouse1" "+attack; incrementvar cl_crosshaircolor 0 4 1; -attack"

You also can try other numbers between 0 and 5 to get other colours.


Buy all equipment with a single key

Open Counter Strike Source. Copy and paste in console:

bind "v" "buy m4a1; buy AK47; buy hegrenade; buy flashbang; buy smokegrenade; buy deagle; buy flashbang; buy vesthelm"

The Perfect Settings:

1.Buy all equipment with a single key. Copy and paste in console:

bind "v" "buy m4a1; buy AK47; buy hegrenade; buy flashbang; buy smokegrenade; buy deagle; buy flashbang; buy vesthelm"

2.Set Crosshair to a smaller size. Copy and paste in console:

crosshairsize is: cl_legacy_crosshair_scale 8000

3.Change the colour of the crosshair everytime you shoot. Copy and paste in console:
